Phil Bailey's Law Enforcement
Insignia Collection

About My Collection

Welcome to my collecting world!

I started collecting police insignia while attending the Atlantic Police Academy in 1977, and the hobby continued while I policed in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia prior to joining the Edmonton Police Service in 1981. I retired in early 2017 after an amazing 40 year policing career.

My primary interest and love is the law enforcement insignia from the Atlantic Canada provinces Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland & Labrabor. I strive to locate all styles of patches that have been worn by members in the provinces. I also maintain collections of Federal patches as they had jurisdiction in Atlantic Canada, and I have a personal collection of Western Canada patches.

Please visit my Photo Gallery page to see the overview of my collection displays, both at home and at the Edmonton Police Service Headquarters. The foreign insignia displays are maintained due to my previous position as National President for the International Police Association.

Thank you for visiting the site, and please let me know if you are aware of any Atlantic Canada law enforcement insignia items that are missing from the site, or if you can assist me in locating any of my identified Wanted items.
